The wild squirtle sat next to a small stream happily eating stolen pokeblocks. He was tough little squirtle and did not have any trouble stealing from trainers. This squirtle was happy being in the wild and had no intention of ever being caught by a person. Ever.

Squirtle looked up when he heard a small sound from the bushes. A small rattata scurried out. Squirtle immediately shot a vicious water gun attack at the rattata and the rattata squealed and ran away.

"Squirtle SQUIRT!" (This is MY stream!), he called after it victoriously. Because it WAS his stream. Squirtle rarely let any other pokemon (or trainer for that matter) near his stream. He stuffed the last pokeblock into his mouth (A dry one- his favourite.) and did a belly-flop into the stream.

He rolled over onto his back and watched the clouds moving by as he floated down the stream. This was definitely the life.

Then.

"C'mon you guys! The stream has got to go! I've got big ideas for this lot of land."

"It may take a few days, sir, but I do think I can fill it in. It doesn't look inhabited."

"That will do. I just need it done as soon as possible so that I can get the construction started."

"I think I can do that."

Squirtle jolted up from where he'd been dozing, he watched the two men walking away."Go?" "GO?" What do they mean, he wondered. The rest of the day passed. Then the next day and even a third. Squirtle soon forgot about the men and their short conversation until one day one of the men and a few others returned. Squirtle watched them carefully until he realized just what they were trying to do. He thrashed at them with Bubbles. The men flinched but then one of them called out, "Do something about that rabid Squirtle!"

Two of the men jumped at him and, after some struggling, captured the squirtle.

Now Squirtle sat on the edge of a large pond. Lots of other pokemon surrounded him but he was not communicating with any of them. The men from before had moved him here, they'd said he'd be happier with other pokemon so it was okay but Squirtle was not. He missed his stream.
